I have always been an adventurous eater, so when I found Crooked Nail Farm was selling Elk meat, I had to try it. In doing some research, I found that Elk has far less fat than beef, so it seemed a healthier option to my mostly red meat diet!

I purchased 1lb of ground and 1 sirloin steak. With the ground, I made a meatloaf and it was delicious. My family does a "steaksgiving" and of course, I had to try the sirloin. I was absolutely blown away at how tender and juicy the steak was. It was grilled to perfection. Best of all, not 1 bit of "gamey" flavor I was worried about! It was good as any steak I have purchased. After the steak, I knew I had to have more, so I ordered a sampler pack from Crooked Nail Farm. They were so responsive to my order, had it processed immediately, and even delivered it to my home.
